I really liked the story lines in each of these books but I didn't like the fact that the characters almost said verbatim what the other said. It was very redundant. The books couldn't have been proofread very well as there were so many incorrect words used throughout each book. I would have liked to give these books a better critique but could not refer these books to other people to purchase.
Love this box set. Great value and the stories are exciting and adventurous. I would highly recommend reading this story plus reading any of Maia Starr stories you won’t be disappointed. ❤️♦️💕
I'm sorry to say but the plot was not well rounded and it seemed roughly drafted. I couldn't finish the half of the first "book". I'm sorry I wasted 0.99. What a waste of space on my iPad.
Story was interesting, but the misuse of drove me nuts. Example “It means, that you see something so beautiful that it feels like you cannot breath, but you still can breath". Really?
I truly have no idea why these "authors" think they can put out this kind of drivel and have happy readers. So many misspelled words, way too many words, wrong words (than instead of then). Seriously, is there no grammar check for these writers? If not, then they should be intelligent enough to have someone who is familiar with the English language, proof-read before inflicting such tripe upon the public. This is now the latest review saying the same thing about books I have read (tried to read) in the last week. I guess it must be the genre I'm reading (who knows?) but these books are getting more and more irritating and impossible to read. I had to stop at the end of Chapter 10 because I couldn't take any more.
I think these books have great potential, but they read like they were written by someone who isn't a native speaker. And you spend the whole time being told one characters depiction of a situation and then immediately being told the EXACT same thing by the other character. Most of the book you are told what's going on, no description, no connection to the characters. And who believes the kidnapped and enslaved heroine falls in love in two days!? I love you in just two days of slavery!? I don't think so.
The stories would be good if the grammer and sentence structure were better. It was hard to follow and I had to keep rereading to understand the context. There were sentences that seemed to be translated from another language into English and then there were some that just didn't make any sense at all. I kept hoping it would get easier to read, but it didn't.
